As a designer, I am exploring the integration of graphics, animation, and artificial intelligence (AI) within my practice. I develop storytelling visuals for screens, prioritizing themes of culture and sustainability. Through this exploration, I aim to create impactful designs that resonate with audiences and contribute to a more sustainable future.

During my postgraduate studies, I am particularly interested in the intricate applications and ethical considerations surrounding AI–how to harness it responsibly across various sectors, including art, music, and education. Respecting copyrights, I set out to direct my non-existent album.

The outcome is a mini-album by an artist collective, with thirteen tracks in total. It entails a sleeve, booklet, and CD. Each of which uses a different medium (screen printing, risograph, and vinyl cutting). The songs are a mix of human-made and AI-generated music. I let the audience decide which is which in a home listening party setting, an experience that captures the audience’s subconscious engagement with AI and their products.

My goal is to explore the ethical implications of AI deployment in greater depth, with a focus on accessibility, privacy, accountability, and audience engagement. I am eager to engage with this subject matter and share my insights and research findings with the community to foster a better understanding of the potential and challenges of AI.
