As a Fashion Curator I am committed to challenging the practices of fast fashion, specifically unethical labour rights and greenwashing. Shining a light on the stories of fashion workers, both past and present, through theory, discussion, and the visual arts.

The project ‘Cutting Corners’ offers a voice to those who are exploited by fast fashion - from garment factory workers to all engrossed consumers. This participatory project foresees an already popular movement in the repair culture, ironically now being tangled into a looming fast fashion trend. Could this paradigm shift resolve the fast fashion cycle or hinder it further?

At the core of my practice is an empathic and radical approach towards curatorial activism. Utilising care to challenge the idea of fast fashion, the consequences of both consumer capitalism, and its enormous waste.
