My current body of work focuses on dysfunctional systems of governance, and examines the affects of these inimical structures on our own network of biological systems. 


Hard hits soft. Soft reacts. 


At the heart of my practice lies a love affair with materiality – a poetic, visual chemistry, that allows me to playfully share my thoughts. 


We engage in battle. 


I canoodle and caress. I squeeze and tear. We fight. Marriages are made. We make friends again.


Provocative textures and playful pairings become raconteurs, heralding experiences of an increasing situation.


Elements and motifs repeat throughout - gagged foam, paint scars, suppressed sponge, beaten cardboard - creating a visual language that helps navigate the viewer through my subject matter.
