I am a multi-disciplinary research-driven artist. My works and research are largely centred around sustainable practices in ceramics and seeking out new creative opportunities using readily available materials from nature. Source location and provenance of available materials often drive storytelling within my practice.



I draw inspiration from forms, colours and textures found in botanical and geological forms, something that reaches back to my B.Sc degree education in Geographical Sciences. I also have a particular interest in the process of decay of man-made structures as they are reclaimed by nature.



I have exhibited my works at Centrespace, Bristol and the Holburne Museum, Bath. My body of work for the Bath Spa University 2025 MA Show is centred around the shard as the outcome of an event in history to be investigated and for memories to be recalled and stories told. The site of a former horticultural nursery on the southern fringes of Bath has been the target of my research which has included extensive study of the site, archival material and an interview with a former employee.
