My name is Harriet! I'm a mixed-media artist from Bristol. The themes present in my practice include feminist and gender studies. My work is hyper-feminine (bright pink just feels right). Being a mixed-media artist, I explore a range of mediums such as ceramics, textiles and photography. My practice includes questions and conversations around feminist perspectives, mental health, and identity. Through the use of written poetry and picture storytelling, it gives a diaristic feel to the artist book. 

For this exhibition, I created stand-alone handmade artist books. I have written poetry, taken photographs, collaged them, and designed unique book covers for each poem. They are presented on their own, so you can read each book separately from a different perspective.
