Georgia Price is a textile designer and printmaker whose practice explores how textiles can become alternative forms of documentation. Working across screen print, photography, installation and illustration, her practice investigates how material, colour and pattern can communicate stories that traditional archives, photographs and records fail to capture.

Storytelling sits at the heart of her practice. Whether reconstructing family histories through inherited objects or exploring chronic illness, she uses printmaking as a process of translation, layering colour, repetition and material to reveal narratives that remain unseen. Through experimentation, she allows materials to guide discovery, uncovering connections between memory, identity and place.

Unicorn investigates how textile design can communicate the lived experience of endometriosis in ways conventional medicine often cannot. Rather than documenting illness through clinical imagery, Georgia explores how print and installation can communicate the emotional and physical realities of chronic illness, positioning textiles as an alternative archive for lived experience.

Ultimately, she sees textile design as visual storytelling that preserves overlooked narratives and gives presence to experiences that might otherwise remain invisible.

Her practice continues to explore how textiles can communicate experiences that are difficult to put into words or make sense of. She believes print, colour and material possess the ability to evoke emotion, foster empathy and create meaningful conversations. Through this final project, she aims to create a space where people living with endometriosis feel seen, heard and believed, while encouraging audiences to reconsider whose stories are documented, whose experiences are validated, and the role textiles can play in making the invisible visible.
