MA SHOWS

I am a Bath Spa MA student,  a multi-skilled artist who creates works including biro-line drawings, digital drawings, sculpture, painting, using traditional methods and film. As part of my Masters research, I am exploring the politics of my own humanity to convey existential emotion. Most recently, inspired by the book 'Iron John' by Robert Bly, I have explored the concept of masculinity. Following the passing of my grandfather (leading male role model in my life), just before commencing my MA studies, I found myself navigating emotions such as grief and loss, whilst trying to discover more about myself and my own existence. This shift in home life and resultant existential tension lead me to research and try to convey this personal revelation through art.
