This is a print series based on photographs from my personal experience of living in the City of Bath for a year. Sharing my perception of everyday spaces, I invite the viewer to go and see the city. The aim of this project is to encourage local residents, students and visitors to discover the area with a new perspective.
The photographs have been printed with a Risograph printer and a laser copy printer; blending traditional and digital techniques and recreating a fleeting moment in time through imperfect print processes.
Printmaking formed a significant part of my Masters course through a sustained interest in learning different techniques and new materials as both a fine artist and graphic designer.
